The Way It Is/ Bobby Unser's undiluted opinion

I used to watch Bobby Unser commentate on CART/Indycar races in the 90's. For me, he, along with Paul Page and others on that broadcast team set the standard for Indycar coverage that has been sorely lacking in recent years.

Motorsports journalist Gordon Kirby wrote an interesting article from an interview with Unser. Unser shared his thoughts about the current state of IndyCar racing. He makes some good points and although I certainly don't agree with all of them (I don't think we need the "excitement" from going 130mph in pit lane back) I thought it was an interesting read.

Kirby's column is great because it is just one guys opinion on racing without a hidden agenda. If you're interested read a few an learn something about The Way It Is in racing.
